- how active you are
You can think about the balance of you and your family's whole diet over the course of a day or a week.
- Basing meals and snacks around starchy foods and fruit & vegetables, as often as you can, will help you get the right balance
- Even small portions of foods that are high in fat and/or sugar can contain a lot of energy (calories)
